Happy Easter and April Fools!

Hi Reader!

Is it strange to say Happy Easter and April Fools all in the same sentence? I think so! I hope you had a wonderful Easter with your family and friends. Since chocolate is my love language I enjoy seeing all of the chocolate eggs and candy this time of year.

Our family celebrates Passover which is coming late in April this year due to a leap month instead of a leap day. Typically Easter and Passover fall within the same week. I am currently planning a Seder dinner for 15 and I'm happy to say that my NYC kids will be home for the weekend! Yay!

Have you ever given your dog a pup cup from Starbucks? While I'm not a huge Starbucks fan and prefer to buy coffee from a local company, I took Poppy on a coffee run and decided to buy her one. It only took me five years to cave in and she was sold. Now if she smells coffee in the house she is begging to have some. I'm not sure about the monster I have created, lol.

I mentioned in a previous email that I had hoped to get the RSS set up so that you received emails more timely about new recipes on the blog. I hired someone to finish off a few technical issues. Once that is done the RSS will happen. I'm hoping it will be this week.

On to my fun links for the week:

This week was all about creating recipes on the blog that can be used for Passover dessert. I am also busy updating really old posts and I will share those with you as they finish.

Chocolate Dipped Coconut Macaroons

Last fall I was recipe-testing white chocolate peppermint coconut macaroons, which are delicious by the way, and I decided to share this recipe for Passover. The macaroons, without the chocolate, can be used as a base for pies, tarts, cheesecakes and more. They are simple and easy to make using only a couple of ingredients.

17 Delicious Passover Recipes

This is a roundup of recipes on my website that can be prepared or used for Passover. You can use the roundup for planning your own Seder.

Until next time, enjoy the spring weather! If it's unseasonal where you are, then bring in the sunshine, dream big, and don't forget to have fun in the kitchen!

See you next week!

Hello Reader! Happy Monday! The butterflies are out in abundance around us! This past weekend I had a chance to see Phil Rosenthal's World Tour. If you don't know Phil Rosenthal, he was the Executive Producer for "Everyone Loves Raymond" and now has a Netflix show called "Somebody Feed Phil". He has a sharp wit and what you see on the show is what you get in real life. While the whole night was spent laughing at him, and with him, my favorite line from the evening and one that resonated was:...
