Happy Solar Eclipse Day And Two New Recipes

Hello Reader!

Happy solar eclipse day! Are you watching it? Will you be able to see it? Here in Chicago we should be experiencing a 94% eclipse which is still pretty cool! I will be coming off a pickleball court so I'm not sure how much I will see.

This week was all about working at my computer. I am furiously and quickly updating a lot of old content in preparation for a few things. I finished the major piece that I needed for my site that I have been working on for two weeks and that will allow me to make the experience much better.

Here is one of them...

Did you see it?

I have a BRAND NEW feature on my site to make things easier.

When you enable "cook mode" you prevent your screen from going dark.

This allows you to easily read the ingredients and instructions without unlocking your phone.

I was also able to get the "Save My Recipe" feature turned on within each post. More about that another time.

Links I am loving this week:

This week I am sharing a few more gluten-free Passover desserts that we love in our house. One is a staple at the Seder meal and the other is a weeknight indulge.

Chocolate Matzo Toffee Recipe

Super simple and super decadent. Typically friends and family bring this to our Seder but I love making my own with gluten-free matzoh and the best chocolate I can find on the market. The chocolate isn't always kosher for Passover so I am careful when I eat and share this with friends. You can find KFP chocolate and use that in this recipe. Top it with anything that you like!

If you aren't celebrating Passover, you can make this with Ritz crackers or any other butter cracker and it's still yummy!

Mixed Berry Crisp With Matzo Streusel

This is a weeknight indulgence and again, super simple to make. You can use oats in place of the matzoh if you do not observe Passover or if you have leftover matzoh this recipe will help use it up.

Until next time, enjoy the spring weather! If it's unseasonal where you are, then bring in the sunshine, dream big, and don't forget to have fun in the kitchen!

See you next week!

Hello Reader! Happy Monday! The butterflies are out in abundance around us! This past weekend I had a chance to see Phil Rosenthal's World Tour. If you don't know Phil Rosenthal, he was the Executive Producer for "Everyone Loves Raymond" and now has a Netflix show called "Somebody Feed Phil". He has a sharp wit and what you see on the show is what you get in real life. While the whole night was spent laughing at him, and with him, my favorite line from the evening and one that resonated was:...
